<p>The invention relates to an adjustable pedal mechanism for a vehicle comprising: a base (2) which is connected to the floor of the vehicle; a carriage (3) which is located on said base (2); and at least one pedal (4) which moves with respect to the carriage (3) when actuated. The upper face (6) of the base (2) is a surface for sliding in a longitudinal manner in relation to the vehicle and the carriage (3) can be moved longitudinally thereon. The inventive pedal mechanism is located on the floor of the vehicle and, as a result, requires no additional safety mechanism for head-on collisions.</p> |
