The frame has two longitudinal members (1) connected by transverse members (3) at the ends and a central transverse member (4). There are hinges (2) adjacent to the central transverse member enabling the two portions of the longitudinal members to be folded so that the end transverse members are adjacent to each other. There are projecting feet (6) on which the frame can stand and spacers or stops (5) at one end. A loop (7) on one long side allows the folded frame to be picked up by a lifting vehicle.
