Shafts (0-6) and gearshift devices (03,04,13,14,16) couple up three single-link planet sets (P1-P3) of gearing. The shafts and gearshift devices along with brakes (03,04) and clutches (13,14,16) use selective gearshift to engage forward and reverse gears and cause different transmission ratios between a drive shaft (1,An) and a driven shaft (2,Ab) for six forward gears and one reverse gear. A sun wheel in the third planet set (P3) fastens to a casing without rotating. The drive shaft links to the clutches. The driven shaft connects to a ring gear in the TPS an to a link in a second planet set (SPS). A third shaft (3) makes a continuous link (CL) to a link in a first planet set (FPS) and to a ring gear in the SPS. A fourth shaft (4) makes a CL to a sun wheel in the FPS. A fifth shaft (5) makes a CL to a ring gear in the FPS and to a link in the TPS. A sixth shaft (6) makes a CL with a sun wheel in the SPS.
