The press-levers (1) are arranged in pairs and have two arms (5,6), with a swivel axis on one side of which is an operating surface (8) for pressing, and, on the other side, is a control surface (7) for the movement of the operating surfaces towards each other. The levers have plastically and or elastically deformable inserts (14) and or layers extending over both sides of the swivel axes. The insert consists of a steel cable fixed in holes (12,13) of each press-plate.
