The play of the accelerator pedal is temporarily restricted by the use of blocks appropriate to vehicle type. The blocks are installed by one-time connectors and are free from openings to exclude the operation of a pedal kickdown if fitted. Block height (A) can be selected by the transport manager to prevent accidents by pedal restriction over short distances, e.g. customer delivery etc. Recesses and holes provide for one-time connector fittings.
