An exhaust gas arrangement comprises a branched line (7) for connecting a removal site (8) of an exhaust gas pipe (2) arranged upstream of a particle filter (3) with an inlet (9) of a plasma generator (6). The outlet (10) of the plasma generator is connected with an inlet site (12) of the exhaust gas pipe arranged upstream of the particle filter and downstream of the removal site. Preferred Features: A controllable valve (21) is arranged in the exhaust gas pipe between the removal site and the inlet site. A ventilator (22) is also provided for promoting the introduction of a reactive gas into the exhaust gas pipe.
