PURPOSE: A system for warning the breakage of a brake of a vehicle is provided to prevent the occurrence of an accident due to the breakage of a brake shoe by warning a driver of the breakage of the brake shoe. CONSTITUTION: A system for warning the breakage of a brake of a vehicle comprises a pair of resistance measuring terminals(100,101) attached to one face of a web(14a) of one of a pair of shoes(13,14), a resistance measuring unit(110) measuring the resistance to the web face between the resistance measuring terminals, a control unit(120) outputting controls signals for performing warning and operating a brake, a reset key(130) inputting a reset command for stopping the brake to the control unit, and an alarm generating unit(140) generating an alarm by the control signals applied from the control unit.
