The invention relates to a process for vaporising a hydrazine hydrate solution, which consists in heating this solution in liquid phase and then decompressing it to produce the vaporisation. It has been found that this process makes it possible to avoid the decomposition of hydrazine hydrate. The invention is of particular use in the case of the reboiler of a column in which the hydrolysis of an azine R1R2C=N-N=C=CR1R2 (in which R1 and R2 are alkyls containing up to 12 carbon atoms) is carried out with recovery of hydrazine hydrate at the foot and of ketone R1R2C=O at the head.
