Cylinder lid comprises a cooling channel system (2). At least one nozzle cooling channel (16) extends along a fitting opening (8). The outlet (14) of at least one base cooling channel (12) is connected to the nozzle cooling channel so that coolant can be fed through the base cooling channel and the nozzle cooling channel. An Independent claim is also included for a reciprocating internal combustion engine, especially a large diesel engine, comprising the above cylinder lid. Preferred Features: The inlet (13) of the base cooling channel is connected to a first annular chamber (17) from which coolant is fed to the inlet of the base cooling channel. A valve cooling channel (15) opens into a second annular chamber (18) suitable for receiving coolant. |
