Reduction of the secondary condensation in the surroundings of cooling towers is ensured by feeding outer air in the upstream of the tower for mixing with the exhaust. Instead of the outside air, another gas may be used when its enthalpy and/or water content are smaller than the corresponding values of the cooling tower exhaust air. The method also ensures the recovery of evaporation water, and a reduction in icing at the air inlet, as well as the control of the cooling tower output.
|
