PERIPHERAL DEVICE FOR NETWORK PRINTING HAVING SELECTIVE BILLING PROCESS FUNCTION AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A peripheral device for the network printing having a selective billing process function and a method thereof are provided to enable a billing manger to selectively transmit a corresponding billing item from a billing item table in order to receive the corresponding billing information. CONSTITUTION: A printer(200) transmits the document data written by an application program such as a word processor. A printing part(250) prints the image data converted from the document data by the printer(210) to paper. A billing item selection panel(270) is installed to the printer(210) in order to make the manager select the billing item by the direct input. A controller(220) produces the information of the corresponding billing item for each printing by selecting the billing item from a billing item table memory(240) according to an order selected by the billing item selection panel(270), and transmits the information to a billing processing server(260) after storing the information in a main memory(230).
