Production of a ski comprises inserting an element (10) for arranging and/or fixing a ski binding or a part of the ski binding during construction of the ski (3) into a reinforcing layer (8) and into a surface foil (9), and pressing the collision regions of the element running in the longitudinal direction of the ski with the surface foil using a pressing mold (1) so that the element is joined to the ski. Preferred Features: An Independent claim is also included for the ski produced by the above method. Preferred Features: The element for arranging and/or fixing a ski binding or a part of the ski binding during construction of the ski is joined to up to three reinforcing layers.
