PURPOSE: A pneumatic radial tire for a heavy load is provided to improve braking performance and driving performance, to suppress uneven wear, and to enhance the stability in a travel and the riding comfort by changing the structure of a pneumatic radial tire. CONSTITUTION: Rows of a middle block(B2) and rows of a shoulder block(B1) are formed radially by centering on a center block(B3) on a center line(C/L). The relation of the width(Ga) of an auxiliary groove(G1) between the shoulder blocks, the width(Gb) of a main groove(G2) between the shoulder block and the middle block, the width(Gc), of an auxiliary groove(G3) between the middle blocks, the width(Gd) of a main groove(G4) between the middle block and the center block, the width(Ge) of an auxiliary groove(G5) between the center blocks and the entire width(TAW) of a tire tread, the relation of the depth of the main grooves and the depth of the auxiliary grooves, and the relation of maximum axial widths(b1,b2,b3) of the tread blocks, the width between the main grooves and the entire width of the tire tread are defined specifically.
