PURPOSE: A deodorizing device of a washing machine is provided to remove a bad smell generated in a washing tub by installing a deodorizer inside the washing machine. CONSTITUTION: A deodorizing device of a washing machine is composed of an installing part(29) opened inward a washing tub, an installing cover(30) installed to the installing part to be removed and attachable with having a louver(35) communicating through the inside and outside of the installing part, and deodorizer(40) fixed inside the installing cover to adsorb outer smell particles delivered through the louver. The installing part being a relatively recessed part has a placing band(29n) enclosing an inner peripheral surface of the installing part and placing the edge of the installing cover, and an insertion slot(29s) and a hanging hook(29h) disposed at an opposite side to install the installing cover. Hanging pieces(32) inserted into the insertion slot is formed at the installing cover and an elastic hook(33) formed at the opposite side of the hanging pieces is hung on the hanging hook by elasticity. The deodorizer installed to the inside of the installing cover by installation and guide projections(38,39) is made of activated carbon in a lattice shape. |
