Tibial milling depth guage

A tibial milling guide incorporates a combination of instruments for producing a planar surface on a portion of the tibia using a milling device. The system includes: an extramedullary alignment guide (10) with a detachable reference guide (30), an adjustable milling base assembly (40), a detachable milling template (80), a sizing gauge (90), and a milling depth gauge (100). The milling depth gauge (100) has a cavity (110) within which a slide (112) is shiftably disposed. The bottom face (107) of body (102) of the depth gauge can be engaged with a reference surface (82) of template (80) such that the slide (112) extends through the milling cutter track (84) of the template (80) and its lower end contacts the bone (2). The upper end of the slide (112) has indicia (116) and extends beyond top face (108) of body (102) such that a depth reading can be obtained.
