PURPOSE: A mobile phone and gas generating method of the mobile phone are provided to generate aroma or oxygen according to users' selection in manipulating a key button of a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: A controller checks whether a contact signal is generated from a contact signal generator(51). If a contact signal is generated, the controller checks whether a pre-set selection mode is an aroma generation mode(53). If the selection mode is the aroma generation mode, the controller generates an aroma generation driving signal and outputs it to a first driving unit(55). The first driving unit is turned on and power is supplied to an aroma storing unit to heat a heat wire and generate aroma(57). If the selection mode is an oxygen generation mode, the controller generates an oxygen generation driving signal and outputs it to a second driving unit(59). The second driving unit is opened and oxygen is discharged(59).
