摘要 PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling the pneumatic pressure of a vehicle tire are provided to offer convenience to a driver by removing the need to manually control the pneumatic pressure of a tire and to prevent the damage on the tire and the degradation of fuel efficiency by automatically controlling the pneumatic pressure of the tire. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic pressure control device of a vehicle comprises plural sonic sensors(100-103), a control unit(110), a reset switch(111), power supply units(120-123), thermocouples(130-133), and an alarm unit(140). The sonic sensors detect the frequency of the noise generated from tires and input corresponding frequency signals to the control unit. The control unit generates a control signal for heating or cooling the air in the tires. The reset switch is for inputting a reset command to the control unit. The power supply units are connected with the thermocouples and apply currents to the thermocouples. The thermocouples absorb or emit heat by the Peltier effect. The alarm unit warns a driver of the excessive imbalance of the pneumatic pressures of the tires.
