PURPOSE: A method is provided to obtain a plasma display panel having a high luminance and superior discharge characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of forming a plurality of address electrodes(2) into a stripe pattern on a glass substrate(1) serving as a rear substrate; forming a dielectric layer(3) all over the glass substrate in such a manner that the address electrodes are covered with the dielectric layer; forming a plurality of barrier ribs(4) on the dielectric layer in such a manner that the barrier ribs define a discharge space of line type in correspondence to each address electrode; forming a reflective film layer(6) by depositing a paste produced by mixing TiO2 and ZnO at the weight ratio of 20:20 to 80 on the dielectric layer and side surfaces of barrier ribs and drying the paste; and forming a phosphor layer(5) on the reflective film layer. |
