PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drop lid capable of easily removing the scum of simmered food, preventing the spilled broth from dripping around a pot and saving the energy. SOLUTION: The drop lid consists of a board-like body 1 and a handle 3 attached to the upper surface of the board-like body. In the drop lid, grooves are formed from the center to the peripheral edge of the board-like body on the lower surface of the board-like body, and notches 7 continued from each groove are formed along the peripheral edge of the board-like body.
