PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-swing device facilitating adjustment, maintenance, and positioning of a container. SOLUTION: This anti-swing device 1 for a container crane 2 is so formed that suspension ropes 12 and 13 are wound around between front/rear sheaves 8, 9, 10, and 11 in the traveling direction of a trolley 3 travelably provided and front/rear sheaves 19 and 20 in the traveling direction of a suspension device 18 positioned in the lower part of the trolley 3, and the lengths of the suspension ropes 12 and 13 from the trolley 3 to the suspension device 18 are changed by a skew cylinder 23, so that a suspension luggage 21 suspended to the suspension device 18 can be turned. The front/rear sheaves 8, 9, 10, and 11 in the traveling direction of a trolley 3 can be front/rear independently moved in the traveling direction and the front/rear sheaves 8, 9, 10, and 11 can be moved in the traveling direction by respectively different drives.
