PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a luggage and the like loaded in a deep position in a trunk structure taken out easily, and to enhance loading performance by facilitating loading in the deep position. SOLUTION: This trunk structure for an automobile is enveloped with a rear end panel 2, a rear fender panel 3, a trunk floor panel 4, and a wall member 5 faced to the rear end panel 2, is constituted to be openable and closable by a lid, and is provided with an opening part in the rear end panel 2. In the structure, a height of a lower edge part 2a in the opening part of the rear end panel 2 is made substantially flush with the trunk floor panel 4, and the floor panel 4 is slidable up to an outside of the automobile.
