PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radiotherapy table in which the minimum height of a top board can be suppressed low, there is no oscillation on the top board part, no adverse effect is exerted upon therapeutic accuracy and which one of 'center spine' and 'side frame' is currently used can be easily identified at low cost while reducing the distortion of the top board part and without generating a step from a top board and without making a patient feel pains. SOLUTION: A top board part 1 for placing the patient is configured separately to the portion of a fixed frame 1b and the portions of movable frames 1c and 1d such that a component unit can be made smaller and the distortion can be suppressed. Besides, a rack gear 20a and a driving part 2a, or the like, are disposed inside the fixed frame 1b to attain compaction. Besides, the movable frames 1c and 1d are formed in the shape of crank and these frames are rotated by 180°mutually oppositely to selectively use the 'cener spine' form and the 'side frame' form. Moreover, the positions of the movable frames 1c and 1d are detected by a detection means such that both the forms can be identified. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
