PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transparent gelatinous aromatic and deodorant composition which has transparency and beautiful appearance, has excellent aromatic and deodorant effects, exhibits an aromatic balance of excellent persistence and stability of these effects, does not fluidize in spite of preservation for a long period at a high temperature and has the excellent shape stability of the gel without spoiling the appearance in the shape after use. SOLUTION: This transparent gelatinous aromatic and deodorant composition contains (a) aluminum octylate, (b) a 12-20C hydroxyl unsaturated higher fatty acid, (c) a benzylidene sorbitol derivative and (d) an aromatic and/or deodorant component.
