PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric water boiler to be used easily, capable of displaying the power saving effect. SOLUTION: The condition of use of liquid inside a container 2 is detected by a use condition detection means 6, and the result of detection is accumulated in order in the memory area of a memory means 7. Based on the accumulated data in the memory means, the heat is retained at a set temperature when it is judged that a heat retaining control part 8 is used, and at a lower temperature than the set temperature when it is judged that the heat retaining control part 8 is not used. The electric water boiler has an operation function for operating the percentage of the latter case during a prescribed period of time, and the result of operation is displayed in a display part 9.
