PURPOSE: A portable phone having an emergency lamp is provided to install an emergency lamp inside of an antenna of a portable phone so that the exterior of the portable phone can be easily designed. CONSTITUTION: An antenna(12) is protruded in one side of the upper part of a portable phone body(10). In the inner part of the antenna(12), a hollow part, of which both ends are opened, is formed in the shape of a cylinder. A high-brightness light-emitting diode(14) is located at the hollow part of the antenna(12). The terminals of the high-brightness light-emitting diode(14) are electrically connected to a printed-circuit board(16). At one lateral side of the body(10), a lighting button is installed to turn on or off the high-brightness light-emitting diode(14).
