SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE AND BROWSER THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A system and a method for wireless Internet service and browser therefor are provided to offer various services to a mobile terminal irrespectively of performance of the mobile terminal by allowing a server to independently process various application programs. CONSTITUTION: A user connects to a wireless Internet service system(S101). A wireless Internet server requests a user authentication from a user managing unit(S102). The user managing unit judges whether the user is legitimate(S103). If the user is legitimate, an application program client executes an application program(S104). The application program client connects to an application program server(S105). Generated data are transmitted to a protocol converter(S106). The protocol converter converts, compresses and packetizes the received data(S107) and transmits it to a data transmitting receiving unit. The data transmitting and receiving unit transmits the packetized data to a mobile terminal(S108). When a key event is generated from the mobile terminal, it is transmitted to the data transmitting and receiving unit(S109) and then to the protocol converter. The protocol converter interprets the received data(S110) and transfers a key event to the application program server for a suitable processing(S111). If the application program is completely processed or a connection is cut off(S112), corresponding information is transmitted to the user managing unit(S113). The connection is terminated(S114).
