<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paint coated metallic bottle can having a base coat without damaging its outer appearance and applying no bad influence against a trimming tool. <P>SOLUTION: This bottle can is made such that when a curl part 15 is formed at an upper part of a threaded portion 14 of a can base body 11, a base coat layer 21 coated at the can base body 11 is hidden inside the curl part 15 and is not seen from outside the curl part 15. That is, when the can base body 11 is coated with paint, the base coat layer 21 is applied on the surface of the can base body 11 at a part spaced apart by a specified size from its upper end. When an opening fitting part 12 is formed at the can base body 11 through a neck-in processing and both the threaded portion 14 and the curl part 15 are formed by a thread machining process, an upper end edge 21a of the base coated layer 21 enters the inside of the curl part 15 so as to prevent it from being seen from outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
