PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded sheet which uses a synthetic resin as a core and has binding force, an aptitude for an automatic binding machine, repeated use properties, and shape holding characteristics comparable to a molded sheet using wires as a core. SOLUTION: The belt-shaped molded sheet is composed of a coating material formed by laminating a heat-fusible thermoplastic resin film on the surface of a base material and a thermoplastic resin core. The core is held integrally by the heat-fusible film and coated with the film. The thermoplastic resin constituting the core has a Vicat softening point lower than that of the thermoplastic resin constituting the heat-fusible film, and the cross-sectional shape of the core is not circular.
