PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure stand device capable of maintaining the flatness of a recording sheet at the time of exposing a document image by securely correcting inclination with a stopper even in the case of a recording sheet easy to be curled and having the strong stiffness. SOLUTION: In this exposure stand device, an endless porous suction belt 37 is provided in a vacuum box 21 to carry the recording sheets X, and stoppers 47 and 48 are provided to lock a tip of the recording sheet X to correct inclination of the sheet. Inside of the vacuum box 21 is partitioned into a plurality of chambers 25, 26 and 27 adjacent to each other in the sheets X feeding direction possible to separately control the inner vacuum pressure thereof. When locking the recording sheet X with the stoppers 47 and 48, the vacuum pressure of the chambers 25 and 26 except for the chamber 27 corresponding to the master stopper is temporarily reduced, and after stopping the recording sheets X, the vacuum pressure of the chambers 25 and 26 is increased.
