PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front pillar part capable of reinforcing effectively without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: A pillar inner panel 8 extending to a front pillar 4 below from a roof of a vehicle body is formed in such a way that the direction of extension of its face becomes forward and backward directions of the vehicle body at a position corresponding to a side inner panel 6 forming a part of the front pillar 4. The pillar inner panel 8 forms each closed cross section by the side inner panel 6 and a reinforcement 7. In this way, the pillar inner panel 8 is extended deep into a side inner panel 6 side to increase a width of an overlapped part of them. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
