A lifting device (4) can be mounted inside the box so that it can be swung out on either side of the box. The lifting device includes a holder (6) for securing to the goods (15) to be transported inside the box. The holder can be moved up and down when the box is open and the lifting device is in a swung-out position. An Independent claim is also included for a system for loading and unloading a collapsible wheelchair transported inside a roof box.
