PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated ester compound, to provide a method for using the same, to provide a perfuming composition containing the same, and to provide a perfumed product. SOLUTION: This unsaturated ester compound comprises any one of isomers of an isomeric compound expressed by the general formula (I) (R is methyl or ethyl) or a mixture of the isomers. The compound is used as a flavoring component. Thus, the perfuming composition which contains the compound and the perfumed product which is perfumed with the compound are provided, respectively.
