PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate material processing machine which processes a long and narrow plate material workpiece with a small width size and a long plate material workpiece by transferring them with two plate material feed mechanisms. SOLUTION: The plate material processing machine is provided with a frame 1, a plate material processing mechanism 2, and two plate material feed mechanisms 3A and 3B. The frame 1 is extended in a first direction Y, and has an aperture 1a inside along a longitudinal direction. The plate material processing mechanism 2 carries out working to the plate material workpiece W, and is provided on the frame 1. The two plate material feed mechanisms 3A and 3B are provided in the aperture 1a of the frame 1 so as to turn to the center of the frame 1 and to be opposed to each other. The plate material feed mechanisms 3A and 3B both consist of a carriage 5, a cross slide 6, and a work holder 7. The carriage 5 is freely movable in the first direction Y, and is extended in a second direction X orthogonal to the first direction Y. A cross slide 6 is provided on the carriage 5, and is freely movable in the second direction X. The work holder 7 holds the plate material workpiece W, and is provided on the cross slide 6 so as to turn to the opposite side of both the carriages 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
