PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an olefinic resin composition for extrusion foaming capable of obtaining a lightened expanded molding in which minute expanded cells, which has been impossible to be obtained using conventional chemical blowing agents, are uniformly dispersed, and a molding obtainable therefrom. SOLUTION: This olefinic resin composition for extrusion foaming is prepared by compounding 0.1-70 pts.wt. crosslinking expandable olefinic resin particle, which is prepared by compounding 1-20 pts.wt. thermal decomposition type blowing agent, which is either one of a sulfonyl hydrazide compound or a mixture of a sulfonyl hydrazide compound and an azo compound, to 100 pts.wt. olefinic resin modified by an ethylenic unsaturated silane compound and having a weight average particle diameter of 1-1.000μm, to 100 pts.wt. ethylenic resin having a melt flow rate measured at 190°C and with a load of 2,160 g of 0.01-5 g/10 minute and a density of 0.860-0.970 g/cm<SP>3</SP>.
