PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily convert urine discharged from each house to compost or biogas by using moisture absorbent waste paper such as waste newspaper instead of water in a dry type toilet used in an ordinary home and mixing the waste paper with urine and to significantly reduce the sewage load and the use of water service. SOLUTION: The dry toilet comprises a dry type toilet bowl 1 set on the floor of a bathroom and a waste paper mixing/carrying device 2 set inside the bathroom. The waste paper mixing/carrying device 2 is for mixing moisture absorbent waste paper (a) in the urine (b) dropped/discharged from a urine outlet 1b of the toilet bowl 1 and feeding the urine (b) mixed with the waste paper (a) to a compost device A or methane fermentation device B.
