PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting blade capable of adequately and correctly cutting an end face of a plastic optical fiber to an arbitrary shape. SOLUTION: In a plastic optical fiber end face cutting blade for cutting an end face of a plastic optical fiber to a predetermined shape, the total length of the cutting blade 1 is substantially equal to the diameter of the plastic optical fiber, the shape of a blade tip is symmetrical in both sides relative to the center, and one half of the blade tip 2 from the center has different angle of the blade tip between the blade tip close to the center and the blade tip close to the outer side.
