PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the lowering of the durability and holding of a spool caused by the repeating attachment and detachment of the spool with respect to a spool holder, and to prevent the contamination and damage of a bonding wire due to the carelessness of a worker. SOLUTION: A base 22 has a bottom part 22a, a side wall 22b protruded on four sides of a body from the bottom part to form a spool housing part 26 and a holder inlet 28 formed on one side or two or more sides in the side wall in order to pass the spool holder. The spool around which the bonding wire W is wound is attached to the spool housing part 26 in a horizontal direction. As a result, the center axial line of the spool is kept in parallel to the bottom part of the base 22, and a cover 24 is joined to the base 22 on the outer surface side of the side wall to prevent foreign matter such as dust or the like from being introduced.
