PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a locking device for a table on seat backface which holds a seat in a storage position without requiring a movable locking member, in a device in which the table is provided to be supported movably between the storage position along a backrest and a using position projected from the backrest by turning motion around one or more of pulling-out support shaft(s) in a lower side as the center, in a back face of the backrest of the seat wherein the backrest is brought into a vertical condition in parallel thereto to be arrayed. SOLUTION: A locking mechanism is constituted of an elastic locking member allowing only elastic deformation in stead of the movable locking member. The elastic locking member is fixed to the backrest under the situation where motion other than the elastic deformation is impossible, has a support face substantially flush with a reverse face of the table projected to an inside of a moving locus from the using position of the table to the storage position thereof, and located in the storage position, in a free condition, and has an application force operation part for moving the support face to an outside of the moving locus by the elastic deformation.
