PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement admixture which imparts dimensional stability and neutralization suppressing effect, and has a beneficial effect when used for blast furnace cement, and to obtain a cement composition. SOLUTION: The cement admixture containsγ-2CaO-SiO<SB>2</SB>and an expansive material. The Blaine specific surface area of theγ-2CaO-SiO<SB>2</SB>is≥3,000 cm<SP>2</SP>/g.
