PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems caused by a contact between a garbage bag or the like and a pantographic mechanism having a retractable function when a capacity is increased, and a small amount of storage in comparison with a size of a storage container, in a retractable garbage storage container in which a structure comprises in such a manner that the opposed sides of the left side surface, right side surface and upper surface of the frame faced to one panel are connected to each other by the pantographic mechanism so that the frame can be retractably moved in the longitudinal direction of and in parallel with the panel, and on the inner surface of the structure, an enclosure protecting contents in response to the movement of the structure is shaped automatically from retractable and bendable material. SOLUTION: The structure such as a foldable panel is provided on the inner surfaces of the pantographic mechanism of the retractable garbage storage container and a net so that the garbage bag or the like may not be brought into contact with the pantographic mechanism. The structure such as the panel can be folded in response to the expansion of the retractable garbage storage container, and can store and collect the garbage bag or the like. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
