PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink-jet head having excellent ink ejection efficiency. SOLUTION: The head comprises a plurality of section walls 2a for providing a pressure chamber 2, a vibrating plate common electrode 11 fixed on the section walls 2a via an adhesive 14 so as to cover the pressure chamber 2, a ferroelectric film 10 formed on the vibrating plate common electrode 11, and an individual electrode 3 formed on the ferroelectric film 10 for displacing the ferroelectric film 10 in the direction of changing the volume of the pressure chamber 2 according to cooperation with the vibrating plate common electrode 11, wherein the adhesive 14 protrudes into the pressure chamber 2.
