PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly detect the bending angle of a work W with an encoder even when a proper bending piece in the work is short without stopping the downward movement of the upper table. SOLUTION: A first parallel linkage 19 and a second parallel linkage 21 which independently perform parallel link motion by following the bending motion of the work are respectively provided in the space for installation provided on a bending die 15. The first parallel linkage 19 is provided with a first upper link 23, a first lower link 25 and a pair of first connecting links 27, 29 for supporting a front bending piece in the work and the second parallel linkage 21 is provided with a second upper link 31 and a second lower link 33 for supporting a rear bending piece in the work. The output shaft 43 of the encoder 39 is integrally connected to the first lower link 25 and the main body 43 of the encoder 39 is integrally connected to the second lower link 33.
