PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact container for cosmetics capable of easily replacing intermediate trays, simply putting the intermediate trays in order, and holding down the manufacturing cost for the container. SOLUTION: The representative construction of the compact container for cosmetics has a flat container body 2, a cover 3 hinged on the container body 2, a plurality of intermediate trays 4 for accommodating contents such as cosmetics, and a sucking member 5 fitted to the inner surface of the container body 2 or the base 2f of the intermediate tray 4 to hold the intermediate tray 4 in the container body 2, the surface of which is provided with suction cup- shaped micro-pores.
