A track lighting and fixture system provides for applying a primary power supply directly to conduits extending along the length of the track. One or more electricity converters, such as AC to AC converters, each of which change the primary power into a secondary power which has characteristics which differ from the characteristics of the primary power, are connected, both physically and electrically to the track, providing a varity of outputs of secondary power. Lighting fixtures and electric accessories, each requiring electric power having characteristics that differ from each other and each of which differ from the characteristics of the primary power may be used in the same track lighting and fixture system.
