<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a rejection cell concentrate to a specific frame and to reduce the abandonment ratio of frame by deciding the abandonment of a cell belonging to a new frame on the basis of a residual capacity of a buffer that performs the storage and output of the cell. SOLUTION: An address conversion part 2 gives a leading cell reception information to a frame transmission decision part 6 when an input cell from an input part 1 is a leading cell of a frame. A permission frame number management part 8 gives the number of permission frames to the frame transmission decision part 6. A frame rejection part 9 transmits or rejects a cell from the address conversion part 2 for a buffer 3 on the basis of transmission permission or a prohibition notice. Hereby, the frame rejection part 9 holds information when the leading cell of a frame is abandoned and as to the frame, the subsequent cells up to the last one are all abandoned.</p> |
