PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for restoring a PC tank, which can restore an initial strength, enables restoration to be applied even to the in-service PC tank in which internal pressure acts on a side wall due to a stored liquid, eliminates an economic loss caused by the nonuse of the PC tank, and allows long-term use. SOLUTION: In the PC tank in which an existing tension member 2 mounted on an outer periphery of a concrete side wall 1 undergoes cubical expansion due to corrosion, a peripheral protective coating layer 3 including a corroded part 5 is removed or reinforced; an anchoring structure 10 is constructed in a coating removing part 9 or a coating reinforcing part 15, in such a manner as to protrude to an outer peripheral side with respect to the layer 3; a new additional tension member 13 is installed by making the structure 10 serve as a supporting part; and after that, the tension member 2 is cut off on both sides of the structure 10.
