<p>PURPOSE: To provide an internal combustion engine intake device which mounting and piping design are facile and standardization is realizable. CONSTITUTION: The dusty side case 11 of an air cleaner 10 has its wall on the engine side 31 used commonly with the wall of a head cover 92 of the engine and the wall opposite to the engine 33 connected to a surge tank 80 through a throttle bore 51. Assembling work of an intake device is facile because the head cover 92, the dusty side case 11, the throttle bore 51 and the surge tank 80 are integrally formed by resin and assembled to an engine block. An intake manifold is arranged so that it may be connected to an engine intake port from the bottom 81 of the surge tank 80 passing through the lower part of the dusty side case 11. Thus piping design becomes facile and standardization of the intake device can be contrived because space for the intake device can be saved as securing the length of the intake manifold.</p> |
