PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lumber belt which shows excellent usability when a user is wearing it and effectively alleviates symptoms accompanying lower back pain by putting pressure on the gluteus medius. SOLUTION: The lumber belt 1 is strip-shaped, and is provided with an upper level belt 2 wrapped around a wearer's lumbar part to increase abdominal pressure and a lower level belt 3 placed at the lower part of the upper level belt 2 and wrapping in and supporting the gluteus medius muscle by abutting on the back side of the lumber part when the upper level belt 2 is wrapped around the lumber part. The lower level belt 3 is made into a gradual W shape, and both the right and left ends and the center part of the lower level belt 3 are connected to the upper level belt 2. Elastic pads 7, 8 to put pressure on the gluteus medius muscle are sewed onto both circular arc parts of the lower level belt 3. Wrapping the lumber belt 1 around the lumber part increases abdominal pressure by the upper level belt 2, wraps in the gluteus medius muscle by the lower level belt 3, puts pressure on the gluteus medius muscle by the elastic pads 7, 8, and stabilizes the lumber part.
