PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster type mobile robot with favorable traveling performance capable of easily climbing up and down stairs or the like. SOLUTION: A center leg 11 is attached to a center of a body 10 so as to extend and contract. A center driving wheel 22 is provided on a lower end of the center leg 11. Side legs 13 are provided on both right and left sides of the body 10 so as to turn, extend and contract with respect to the body 10. Side part driving wheels 34 are provided on the side legs 13.
