METHOD OF CULTIVATING GARLIC USING PLANT IMMUNO-ACTIVATION MATERIAL

PURPOSE: Provided is a method of cultivating garlic using a plant immuno-activation material(called the elicitor), thereby facilitating the immuno-activation of the garlic and its resistance to the pathogenic bacteria, and reducing the usage of agricultural chemicals while enlarging the harvest of the garlic. CONSTITUTION: A method of cultivating garlic comprises the steps of: soaking garlic seeds in 0.01-0.5% of a solution containing one or more elicitor ingredients selected from the group consisting of chitosan, beta glucan and pectin, followed by drying it; and cultivating them while spraying the elicitor solution thereto two to five times. The elicitor solution contains a mixture of 20-100cps of an elicitor ingredient and 5-15cps of an elicitor ingredient in a ratio of 1:1.
